**sphere_stereograph_test**,
a MATLAB code which
calls sphere_stereograph(), which
implements the standard stereographic mapping between the unit sphere and
the plane Z=1, as well as a generalization of this mapping.

The computer code and data files described and made available on this web page are distributed under the GNU LGPL license.

sphere_stereograph, a MATLAB code which computes the stereographic mapping between points on the surface of the unit sphere in 3D and points on the plane Z = 1; a generalized mapping is also available.

- sphere_stereograph_test.m calls all the tests.
- sphere_stereograph_test.sh runs all the tests.
- sphere_stereograph_test.txt the output file.

- sphere_stereograph_test01.m verifies that SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH and SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH_INVERSE are inverse functions of each other.
- sphere_stereograph_test02.m verifies that SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH is a special case of SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH2, and the same for the inverse function.
- sphere_stereograph_test03.m verifies that SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH2 and SPHERE_STEREOGRAPH2_INVERSE are inverse functions of each other.
